Reading? Speaking?

As you guys know, the significant methods to learn English are reading, writing , speaking and listening.

It's really help to learn vocabulary when you read some books, but there are some problem for me.

I can read/understand very well (i am studying in USA right now), but i can't speak very well.

Maybe you will say : Practice make perfect.

But i just talk with my friend in very very simple English, i can't aware how can i make perfect.

I learned a lot from books, but those are useless in conversation.

What do you guys think?

because they use slang which make some different from reading/writing.

How long have you been studying in US?
I spent my last 2 months in UK and I am able to listen to most of the conversations
Speaking is a bit difficult but if you take your time (but of couse, not ridiculously long)
you should be able to use other words that you know.
Sometimes try to think of a precise word to express your thought
If you cant, try to plan what you are going to say
that will help a lot
