this is the reaction between copper(I) sulphide and oxygen
the O.N. of copper(I) ion is +1
ON of Cu changes from +1 to 0 , change = -1
Cu is reduced
ON of S changes from -2 to +4 , change = +6
S is oxidized
ON of O changes from 0 to -2 , change = -2
O is reduced
as the number of moles of O and Cu is 2 in this reaction
while the number of moles of S is 1 .
the ON changes of O and Cu should be multiplied by 2
the overall Change of ON = (-2) x 2 + (-1) x 2 + (+6) x 1 = 0
therefore, its a correct and balanced equation

Cu2S + O2 > 2Cu + SO2
Cu由+1減少到0 還原作用
S由-2增加到+4 氧化作用
O由0減少到-2 還原作用
