US First Lich King Heroic | buy wow gold
It had to happen eventually; a US guild has finally killed Lich King 25 on Heroic! Premonition (US-Senjin), who were previously the first guild worldwide to get to get the Tribute to Insanity achievement in ToGC 25, get the dubious honor of coming in 9th behind 5 European guilds, 2 Korean guilds, and Stars from Taiwan. The guild had this to say about their kill:
So, at long last, we have cheap wow gold slain the dragon. First off, big grats to Paragon for getting it done years ahead of everyone else. We should have had a kill a few weeks ago, with a few situations like the following screenshot depicts: sub 20% wipe on our first or second attempt of the week/night, and then nothing but wipes getting worse thereafter!
To further complicate things, it's no secret we lost a lot of long term members in the Icecrown progression cycle, which massively hamstrung us. So when it came down to Lich King, we ended up having to rely on a very strict set of players, and if they couldn't be on or if their internet was bad, we couldn't raid. It got to the point, actually, where we got one hour of raiding when we started raid, then had to call raid for several hours while a certain paladin's internet stopped chain d/c'ing him, and that was how we raided for the past week (a couple hours in the AM).
As for the boss itself, it's of course very challenging. We would've loved to be able to have more opportunity to try it at the 5% level, but alas. A few aspects of the fight made us want to smash our keyboards in to the wall now and then, namely all of your priests getting picked up by the Val'kyrs at the same time, and so on!
We're happy to have come through and end up with a US first, even if it wasn't a typical world rank for a US first kill, after the cheap wow gold hardship that we had to work through. Congratulations to everyone and all of the other guilds that have come this far.
Congrats to Premonition for proving that US guilds aren't completely outclassed and for getting the kill before next week when the third stage of the zone-wide buff is expected to come into play.
Registration this year for the World of Warcraft Arena Tournament will require a $20 USD fee that you can pay when you log into your WoW account. This will allow you access to the Tournament Realm when they bring it online.
This year's tournament is expected to be unique and to deviate slightly from the format of previous years. It was originally rumoured that this year's tournament would include certain limited PvE items will be available for use by players. Items like the much sought after Icecrown Citadel trinkets like Deathbringer's Will and Dislodged Foreign Object. If true this would have given this year's tournament a more authentic kind of feeling -- an experience that would resemble the PvP experience that plays out on live realms every day.
Unfortunately based off the loot wow gold lists it doesn't seem like this will be the case. Nonetheless, the tournament will be a great place for Arena enthusiasts to face off against their counterparts from other battlegroups.
The FAQ is up here. It includes the loot list as well as other relevant information about the tournament so take a look if you might be interested in registering.
