Avenged Sevenfold, often referred to as the self-titled album, is the fourth studio album by American rock band Avenged Sevenfold, released on October 30, 2007 through Warner Bros. Records. The album, originally slated for an October 16 release, was delayed by two weeks in order to provide more time to complete bonus material and production for the record, including the making of the animated music video for the goth rock epic "A Little Piece of Heaven". The album debuted at number 4 on the Billboard 200.[1] On September 23, 2008, the album was certified Gold by the RIAA. This is also the last album published before The Rev's death on December 28th 2009. The band is currently working on a fifth studio album in which The Rev has already recorded his drumming sessions. Whenether or not his recordings will be present in the album is currently unknown.
