and quite weird in the last sentence. I know what you're taking, just a bit strange.
May be you can say it sounds weird or different from usual.
Return to your case, it is definitely normal. So you don't have to worry about it.
Just practice and speak more with friends. Because I think the major problem you got is lack of confident. Try your best to make it as an informal conversation =)
