Santi Cazorla met his new Arsenal team-mates on Friday after agreeing a £20million move from Malaga. The 27-year-old midfielder has passed a medical and agreed a four-year contract worth £70,000-a-week.
The Gunners will pay Malaga a basic £16m fee as part of a deal that includes various add-ons.
Good news also on Arsenal’s other ongoing transfer target, Real Madrid starlet Nuri Sahin, has been given permission to go out on loan by boss Jose Mourinho.
