Aly Cissokho
Premier League clubs including Tottenham, Manchester United, Liverpool and Everton have all been put on alert after Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas admitted left-back Aly Cissokho could leave the club.
The France international is considered the long-term replacement for Patrice Evra at international level and was first scouted by United 18 months ago.
However, Sir Alex Ferguson has since taken a back seat, with eyes specifically on Leighton Baines, opening the door for his domestic rivals. Everton are the most likely destination as it stands, especially with United's interest in their own left-back.
As well as English interest, Aulus confirmed a club a Spain - believed to be Valencia, who are seeking a replacement for Jordi Alba following his move to Barcelona - have made a bid.
'We have received two proposals for Aly: one from Spain and one from England,' Aulas said. 'We are dealing patiently with two clubs because we have no obligation to sell at any price.'
Axel Witsel
Manchester United are pushing to close a deal for Benfica ace Axel Witsel.
A Bola says United are heading the chase to sign Witsel from Benfica following the news that Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric's move to Real Madrid is close to being completed.
Real boss Jose Mourinho is also an admirer of the combative midfielder.
