Well the PSP-3000 has finally been officially announced, and yes no doubt it will be Pandora-proof. But looking at the official changelist it sure looks disappointing.
Whatever happened to the HDD and Bluetooth?? They definitely have a prototype because the SYSCON chip of current PSP's already support the interface for the HDD & GSensor. In fact, you can attempt to retrieve values of the GSensor from SYSCON (returns an error currently since there's nothing connected) and the idstorage key7 has params set to configure the GSensor hardware. Even the interrupts have been mapped to a HDD device and a memory region mapped for its registers. So when will all this come out I wonder??
A PSP-4000 04g model?? Or maybe it really is for the nextgen PSP2.
Still, very disappointing (secretly hopes that not all the changes have been announced yet and more will be revealed later).
