takes too long to mine...

ok, as you only mention your mining & smithing lvl, i assume you asking suggestions based on that two skill...

With these two skills, you have a few method to make $ from it...
Stick with Steel Bar for the moment...
1. Mine Coal + Iron (full profit - 900+gp per bar)
    Coal in Mining Guild (or Living Cavern if you are p2p)
    Iron in anywhere the iron mine is close to bank...
2. Buy Both Coal + Iron (Less profit, about 200gp profit per bar)
    2xcoal = 500gp
    1xiron = 230gp
    Steel bar = 870gp
3. Pure mine coal (250gp profit per ore)
    Bad side is you don't get mining xp

Personally I'm doing two methods on mining and smithing to make profit + leveling....
(I am 90mining btw)

1. Mine both Mithril Ore and Coal, then make Mithril Bars to sell (about 15k mine xp/hour)
    I mine every single Mithril Rock I see, and ending result is the ratio of Coal and Mithril
    Ore I mined is about 4:1, so ending up I don't have to spend anymore $ on coal
    (Profit for this is a full price for Mithril Bar - 1.6k)
    I won't mine Mithril Ore till at least 65mine)
2. Mining in Living Rock Cavern for Gold Ore - about 40-50k mine xp/hour)
    I don't smith gold bar for maximum profit - 300gp/ore)

well... if you are f2p...
some suggestions for money making would be:

1. Buy Coal and Iron ore, smelt steel bars (230gp profit per bar)
2. Mine coal in mining guild, then sell (250gp each)
3. Chop yew (450gp each?) - slow, because many ppl are chopping yews in f2p
4. Kill hill giants for big bones to sell (680gp)
5. Merching
7. Fishing - Lobsters, long trip for banking... (300gp each)

no idea actually.... cos i haven't been a f2p in a long long time...

but if you were you, i would stick with two methods
1. Kill Hill Giants for Big Bones (collect heaps, and sell later)
2. Buy Coal/Iron ore to smelt steel bars (at al-karid)

究竟要邊樣比較好- -, smith steel bar or mine coal?

this is up to your choice...
addy don't mine till 80,
rune don't mine till 90...
that's only my personal suggestion....
