想請問下us係咪一定用係verb後面?please

印象中好似係
我作d例子比你睇下:
1. He shows us his book
2. They told us a secret yesterday

呢2句都係用us 唔係用we / our
we會係verb前面
例如we have lunch together every Tuesday
our係"我們的" 通常會係後面加noun
例如This is our treehouse
我唔肯定有冇d例外既情況啦 我係上面講果d係最常見既用法黎

想問下點解唔係用"eat" 而係用"eating"
以我理解 呢句野係無顯示出"食緊"既意思

再一次麻煩下你 阻到你唔好意思.....

eating唔一定出"食緊"既意思,可以係一個持續doing sth既意思.
Eg. The population of Hong Kong is increasing.
